The ADG announced its nominees for excellence in production design, with "Frankenstein," "Hamnet," and "Marty Supreme" competing for feature-length film.

On January 7, the Art Directors Guild (ADG) announced its 2026 nominees for excellence in production design. This year’s awards ceremony marks the ADG’s 30th annual celebration, honoring outstanding production achievements in film, television, and music. The ceremony will take place on February 28 at the InterContinental Downtown Los Angeles.

In keeping with last year’s format, the awards are divided into 14 categories organized by medium and genre. Highlights in the film category include Rick Heinrichs’ majestic church in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” Jack Fisk’s claustrophobic 1950s New York in “Marty Supreme,” and the ever-majestic land of Oz in “Wicked: For Good.” On the television front, Merje Veski’s clean-cut kitchen interiors for “The Bear” will compete against Julie Berghoff’s sleek midcentury offices in the half-hour single-camera series category, alongside other nominees. Anderson, Prada, State Farm, Target and Xbox are neck-in-neck for best commercial, while Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift are competing for best music video. Final voting ends on February 25th with the winners announced three days later.
