The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild revealed the winners, opens in new tab for the 2026 MUAHS Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 14th (Valentine’s Day seemed a perfect day to celebrate all things beauty!). The awards, which is in its 13th year, honor the year’s outstanding makeup and hairstyling achievements across multiple entertainment platforms from feature films and television, to music videos and live stage production

In the film category, “One Battle After Another” and “Sinners" led the pack with two nominations a piece, while “Frankenstein”, opens in new tab took home the award for its prosthetic work. On the television front, "Palm Royale" and "The Studio"racked up two nominations each. Other notable mentions include the final season of “Stranger Things,”, opens in new tab which was recognised for its prosthetics work, and "Skeleton Crew," which won in both children's and teen TV categories.

Every year, the Guild also celebrates the careers of a few of its most decorated members. For 2026, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning makeup artist Greg Nelson, opens in new tab and Oscar-nominated hairstylist Judy Alexander Cory, opens in new tab received lifetime achievement awards, while Emmy-nominated makeup artist Michael Johnson received the Vanguard Award. Actress Amy Madigan, known for her versatile and award-winning performances across film, television, and theater, was honored with the Distinguished Artisan Award.
