Mark Ricker

Production designer and art director Mark Ricker is the creative behind some of film and television’s most lush, visually-stunning sets, from “The Roses” and HBO’s “Feud” to “Halston” and “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” Mentored early on by production designers like Jan Pascale, Thomas Walsh, and David Gropman, and prop masters such as Sandy Hamilton and Diana Burton, Ricker has become a powerhouse in his own right. His incredibly detailed and textured work has earned him three Emmy Award nominations, multiple Art Directors Guild awards, and an Academy Award nomination for “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.”
