
Cynthia De La Rosa

Cynthia De La Rosa is a London based Wigs, Hair, and Makeup Designer with over 20 years of industry experience who specializes in naturalistic and period Design. She has worked on over 100 Theatre/Opera productions, 8 film and television productions as an Artist, and designed 10 film and television productions. Most recently, De La Rosa designed Lena Dunham’s Netflix and Working Title TV series “Too Much," and a joint A24/BBC show airing in October title “Dreaming Whilst Black."
As well as working the film and TV sector, De La Rosa is the co-founder of the non-profit Levelling Up, an organization that aims to eradicate textured hair discrimination in the performing arts by offering industry courses in textured hair and multi-ethnic skin, as well as mentoring barbers and stylists with pre-existing textured hair skills into the theater, film, and the television industries.
